Mountains Majesty Fine Art in Oil
Greetings from a winter wonderland. T his piece on a black canvas was a joy to paint. Using a palette knife to sculpt the mountains, coupled with some brush strokes for the icy lake and foreground, I created this lovely chilly scene. The sky turned out beautifully with some purple and lavender hues. I used thick and thin oil paint to get the effect. Brrrrr.... Peaceful, serene and tinged with many shades of blues just brings out the glory of the Alaskan Mountains. I've been there several times in winter which was my inspiration for this piece -- even took a dog sled ride! Wear your parka and enjoy or own this piece of fine art. Email me for details.
