New Luminous Harbor Oil Painting

Image
I visited Rockport , Maine this past summer with a group of artists. I painted En Plein Air on beautiful harbors. Lots of grey skies, grey water and subdued hues that week. So, I jazzed it up a notch and really had fun adding some more lighter mauve hues with some fabulous blues!

New Plein Air Air Art! I love painiting outside!

Indiana Covered Bridge in Oils Framed 9 x 12 inches I traveled to northern Indiana with my beloved Shetland Sheepdog, Frosty Mugs and toured more than 8 bridges in the famous "Madison County" along with several surrounding counties. This bridge dated from the mid 1800s. It called to me so I and Frosty plopped down and had some fun with the paints! Frosty even walked to the4 edge of the bridge, stood there, and had an up-close look see for herself! Available at the Foundry Art Market, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania Happy summer!

Happy Spring! I've been working with acrylic paints recently and have pulled out a good one!  This Bear in the Woods is a representation from Pembine, Wisconsin, a little tiny northern town in Wisconsin. I have many happy memories of family vacations at the cabin in the woods where we saw black bears regularly. They especially liked visiting the town dump!
