Mountain Valley Plein Air Painters Art Show
This first weekend in October was my painting group's annual art show. Approximately 25 painters exhibited in the Red Barn in Mount Alto, Pennsylvania. We painters during the summer have painted outside in numerous scenic locations in the area such as farms, pastures, ponds, state parks, wineries and apple orchards. It is fun and great to be outdoors. Yes I haul all my oil paints and easel around but the rewards of nature's colors and sunlight outweigh the artisic burden of supplies! Here are a couple pieces of my artwork. We will continue to paint through October.
