Several years ago I visited Farmington, Pennsylvania where there are rolling hills and country roads. I brought my paints and painted from my balcony. The view was spectacular at dusk. There, I used pastel colors to make the sky and greens and blues for the high hills. Enjoy! This painting is available at Chambersburg's the Foundry Art Market for purchase.  This first weekend in October was my painting group's annual art show. Approximately 25 painters exhibited in the Red Barn in Mount Alto, Pennsylvania. We painters during the summer have painted outside in numerous scenic locations in the area such as farms, pastures, ponds, state parks, wineries and apple orchards. It is fun and great to be outdoors. Yes I haul all my oil paints and easel around but the rewards of nature's colors and sunlight outweigh the artisic burden of supplies! Here are a couple pieces of my artwork. We will continue to paint through October.

  This acrylic painting was inspired by my travels to Alaska. The stunning snow-covered peaks grace the sky. The fine art piece is executed on Arches of France black paper. It comes framed and under glass and the size is 15 " x 18 " . Nice for any wall, den, office living room or bedroom, the pieces stands out and makes a bold statement as to the majestic characteristics of the icy northland.
