Shades of Grey Artist Exhibit

Image
At the Chambersburg, Pennsylvania Foundry Artist Co-op, a new art exhibit has been hung. The exhibit is called Shades of Grey. The one thing that the fine art pieces have in common is that they highlight tones of grey, white and black. There are oil paintings -- some with trees and winter scenes -- fiber art, 3-D collage and more. One of the pieces contains silver wire in the shape of a tree in a frame. My piece is of a bird in a grey frame.  I drew the bird in charcoal pencil. It is of a nut hatch.  The Foundry will be hopping busy the 31st of January, and the first and second of February for Icefest, a festival of ice sculptures downtown. There will be jewelry bracelet making classes and cold wax painting for the low cost of $5.00 per person at the Foundry. Stop in to see the new exhibit and take a class!
